Use Exped pumps with almost any mat! The Universal Valve Adapter adapter connects Exped's pumps(Schnozzel Pumpbag, Pillow Pump, Mini Pump and the Schnozzel-equipped-packsack)to just about any 'stick-out' camping mat valve and any flat valve on the market. The Universal Valve Adapter connects to any stick-out valve with a diameter between 16 to 25mm. It also directly connects to any flat valve port with a diameter of 14 to 16mm or 20 to 22mm. If it does not fit still, then just take a piece of tape to wrap around the respective silicone tube until required thickness is reached. We highly recommend to take a selfamalgamating tape. For Exped's older big flat valve with 30mm inner diameter the Flat Valve Adapter is suggested. High-grade silicon of the tubes stays flexible in even the coldest environments and is extremely UV stable. To use: just fit the applicable adapter onto the mat’s stick-out valve and leave it there so it is not lost. To connect with the pump just push it onto the pumps outlet port. In the case of a flat valve stick the respective silicone tube into the hole of the flat valve and onto the pumps outlet port.
