Bitihorn Alpha Hoodie Shirt - Men's

The bitihorn Alpha Hoodie shirt is a very innovative product developed in collaboration with our Italian ambassador and mountain guide Giuliano Bordoni.
We are proud to introduce this body-mapped piece with several functions in different areas to fulfill every need for use in high intense activities. The bitihorn Alpha Hoodie has wind protection in the front, thermal properties in front, hood, sleeves and ventilation in the back.
Nice features also include a built-in facemask for full-face protection, a deep two-way front zip with venting possibilities, one zippered chest pocket and stretch cuffs.
The hem is separated – made in two layers like a gaiter – to be able to put the top inside the pant. The prints are reflective to keep you visible in the dark.

Technical Details
• Polartec® Alpha: Polartec® Alpha® starts with a highly efficient insulation fabric, which is based on the Polartec® Thermal Pro® High Loft technology platform. This technology is uniquely suited to create warmth without weight, and exceptional breathability, compressibility and dry times via high loft fibers in a low density knit. Current market synthetic insulations are not breathable enough to handle the ”go” phases of most backcountry pursuits. They are typically additional garments that must be carried for use during static period. Polartec® Alpha excels at providing comfort for users on the move.
• Polartec® Power Grid: The ability to maximize base efficiency through enhanced performance benefits is central to the design of Polartec® Power Grid™ fabric. By constructing a symmetrical grid pattern Polartec were able to not only increase thermal warmth and mechanical wicking capabilities, but actually reduce the overall fabric mass and weight. Benefits of products using the Polartec® Power Grid® are fast drying, great breathability, lightweight and easy care.
• Pertex: Pertex ® uses incredibly fine yarns, precisely woven to provide a very lightweight yet strong and durable fabric. Its softness allows down and synthetic insulation to fully loft, while the downproof construction prevents the down from leaking through the face. The fabric is windproof. Our products use different variations, such as Quantum, Classic and Microlight. These have the same fundamental characteristics but vary on weight.
• Polartec® Power Wool: Polartec® Power Wool™ is a design breakthrough for combining the distinct advantages of natural and synthetic fibers in a bi-component fabric. The industry standard of blending different yarns into a mixed composition reduces the intended benefits and hampers overall fabric performance. By isolating a merino wool interior and a synthetic fiber exterior Polartec® developed a hybrid fabric with distinct surface features to optimize wicking, breathability, odor resistance and durability.
• PFC Free: Products marked with “PFC-free” are not treated with a DWR that contains PFC (polyfluorinated chemicals). We are working determinately to phase out PFC from all of our products, but it is difficult to find an alternative that satisfy our quality demands.
