The 45-litre Patagonia MCL backpack is the most versatile travel bag designed to stuff into an airplane overhead. It’s constructed from puncture-proof 940-denier CORDURA® Ballistic nylon, which is coated in weather-resistant polyurethane and then lined with 200-denier polyester. Ergonomic, zip-away shoulder straps convert the MLC to a backpack; a padded shoulder strap allows it to be worn across the chest; top/side handles let it be carried like a briefcase. Patagonia built the MCL to hold a work-week worth of clothes, with a main compartment that folds opens for easy packing. The interior features a pair of separate pockets for organized packing and a padded laptop sleeve that doubles as a clothing organizer. A second zippered pocket keeps shoes away from clothing. Multiple exterior pockets organize essentials and include slots for electronics, travel docs and a wallet. Patagonia also designed this bag with an integrated docking sleeve that slides over telescoping handles on wheeled luggage.
