The ASYLUM JACKET is a climbing-focused down insulator built for cold days at the crag. It’s padded with 650 fill power European Duck Down. Every Rab duck down coat features ethically sourced, and RDS certified down, which is also Fluorocarbon free and hydrophobic. The insulation is contained by a durable Pertex Classic outer and a soft Tactel taffeta lining. The down-filled Eskimo-hood features a Velcro volume adjuster to seal in the warmth and protect against the biting wind. A 2-way YKK VISLON zipper secures this jackets’ opening and is backed by an insulating baffle flap and comfortable chin guard. The Asylum’s regular fit allows for decent layers to be worn underneath, ensuring you can climb all winter long.
